4.3 Data Logging

iFUEL® Mobile produces a number of logs to the onboard memory. These settings are not to be adjusted without a detailed discussion with the iFUEL® Mobile team (07) 3204 2240.

4.3.1 Event LoggingLink

Each switch event, start, stop or other activity detected by the instrument is recorded to the event log. The event log may be used to track a performance problem or detect anomalies in the system. The event log can be disabled by adjusting the flag to 0. Default value is 2.

4.3.2 Transaction LoggingLink

The transaction log is recorded as backup data as a binary file. It can not be read without iFUEL® Mobile software. Illegal transactions are also recorded to the onboard memory in this file. The transaction log can be disabled by adjusting the flag to 0. Default value is 1.
